23.4.9 Flues<br />
23.4.9.1<br />
Metal flues and the like shall be measured in metres. Soot doors, changes of<br />
direction, and the likeshall be enumeratedas extravalue. Cowlsshall beenumerated.<br />
23.4.9.2<br />
Flashings to flues, vents, and the like shall be enumerated.<br />
23.4.9.3<br />
Wire balloons, gratings, and the like shall be enumerated. Vermin proofing gutter<br />
guards and the like shall be measured in metres.<br />

23.4.10 Sundries<br />
23.4.10.1<br />
The provision of sleeves for building in or the drilling of holes into the building<br />
structure shall be enumerated.<br />
23.4.1 0.2<br />
The making good, packing, sealing or fire rating of building penetrations shall be<br />
enumerated.<br />
23.4.10.3<br />
Electrically operated valves, sensors etc. and heat tracing to pipes is to be<br />
enumerated and described. The wiring connections and controls are to be measured<br />
in section 28.<br />
