03. Inception of the Organisation Pune chapter started in 1997
CEE is a national Institute engaged in developing
programmes and material to increase awareness
about Environment established in 1994.
04. Mandate of the Organisation
CEE is supported by Ministry of Environment and
Forests, Givernment of India and affiliated to
Nehru Foundation for Development.
Pune office was set up in 1995. After working as a
project office it was given responsibility of
managing the central region. The mandate of Pune
office is implementation and extension of CEE’s
work to central region.
