GREK 6352 Advanced Directed Studies in Greek<br />

Prerequisites: GREK 5301, 5302, 6301, 6303, and 6351 or permission of the instructor<br />

Advanced studies in Greek grammar, syntax, linguistic approaches, and/or text critical theories with application to<br />

literature of the Koine Period. Course may be repeated only once and only if course topic and content differs.<br />

HEBR 2312 Hebrew Grammar I<br />

An introduction to the forms, vocabulary, and grammatical usage of biblical Hebrew designed to give the student the<br />

skills necessary for the translation and analysis of the Hebrew Bible.<br />

HEBR 2322 Hebrew Grammar II<br />

Prerequisite: HEBR 2312 or permission of the instructor<br />

A continuation of HEBR 2312. An introduction to the additional forms, vocabulary, and grammatical usage of biblical<br />

Hebrew designed to give the student the skills necessary for the translation and analysis of the Hebrew Bible.<br />

HEBR 3311 Hebrew Reading and Syntax I<br />

Prerequisite: HEBR 2312 and 2322 or permission of the instructor<br />

An intermediate study of Hebrew syntax with application to the translation and analysis of selected portions of the<br />

Hebrew Bible and/or Second Temple literature.<br />

HEBR 4351 Hebrew Reading and Syntax II<br />

Prerequisite: HEBR 2312, 2322, and 3311 or permission of the instructor<br />

Advanced study of Hebrew syntax with application to the translation of selected portions of the Hebrew Bible and/ or<br />

Second Temple literature.<br />

HEBR 4352 Directed Studies in Hebrew<br />

Prerequisite: HEBR 2312, 2322, 3311 and 4351 or permission of the instructor<br />

Advanced study of the Hebrew Bible and/or selected Second Temple literature. Course may be repeated only once and<br />

HEBR 4393 Senior Seminar<br />

Prerequisites: HEBR 2312, 2322, 3311, 4351 or permission of the instructor.<br />

Hebrew I is a study of Hebrew grammar and syntax for reading the Hebrew Bible and other Second Temple literature.<br />

HEBR 5302 Hebrew II<br />

Prerequisite: HEBR 5301 or permission of the instructor.<br />

Hebrew II is an advanced study of Hebrew grammar and syntax for reading the Hebrew Bible and other Second<br />

Temple literature.<br />
