MAY 23, 1760579Ordered That the said Address be presented to His Honour by Mr.Pringle.The following Papers were presented to the House and read, vizt.An Account of John Lide amounting to £10:5 for the use of the Expedition.Certificate of a Horse and Cart impressed for the said Expedition belongingto Luke Stoutenburgh Esqr.Two Accounts of Christopher Gadsden Esqr. for the like use, oneamounting to £10 and the other to £30:7:6.Ordered, That the said Papers be referred to the consideration of theCommittee who were appointed to audit the Public Accounts; and that theydo examine the Same and report their Opinion severally thereupon to theHouse.Then the House resumed the adjourned consideration of the Residueof the Report from the Committee to whom the several Public Accounts werereferred.And the several Articles of the said Report from No. 1 to No. 70 beingseverally read a second time, were severally agreed to by the House.The 71st Article on an Account of Susanna Burnett, being read a secondtime, was disagreed with by the House.Resolved that £26:5 be allowed on the said Account.The 72d, 73d & 74th Articles being severally read a Second time, wereseverally agreed to by the House.The 75th Article on an Account of Elizabeth Mercier, being read a Secondtime, was disagreed with by the House.Resolved That £15 be allowed on the said Account.And the several other Articles of the said Report as far as No. 170, beingseverally read a Second time were severally agreed to by the House.Mr. Manigault reported from the Committee to whom the several Accountsof the Public Debt were referred, that the Committee had examinedseveral other of the said Accounts, and had directed him to report the sameto the House: And he read the Report in his Place and afterward deliveredit in at the Clerk’s Table: Where the same was read and is as follows, vizt.No. 171. Hans Uldrick Burkhast for Flour, certified by Henry Gallman,allowed, £43:19:9.172. Robert McCuhen for Corn Blades, allowed, £20.173.
