John Milner, his Account for cleaning the Public Arms £514:2:3. Shortcast to his prejudice £7. The Committee allow £521:2:3.2. Colo. Richard Richardson, for entertaining Indians, £63:7:6, allowed.3. William Pinckney, Commissary, his Account of Disbursments for thePublic Service £3025:3 to be allowed.4. Peter Crim, two Certificates in his favour, from Lachlan McIntosh,for driving ten Steers to Fort Prince George; the Sum for this Service is notmentioned; & the Committee do not know from what Place the Steers weredriven, for which reason they cannot report with any degree of certaintyupon the above Certificates.5. Henry Hartley, for a Horse impressed, by Michael Coldiron, in theYear 1757; not allowed, because the Committee know of no right Mr. Coldironhas to press Horses.6. Public Treasurer, two Accounts of his amounting to £40,418:13:5; whichthe Committee have examined, & find the several Charges usual & reasonable,& according to the Resolutions of this House. There is an article forthe Treasurer’s trouble in advancing & paying £42,950; which the Committeerecommend may be filled up at the rate of 10/ for every £100; whichmakes the Sum to be allowed £40,633:8:5. Of which £31,406:5 is for the lateExpedition.7. Petition of several Inhabitants of Charles-Town, with regard to theAcadians. The Committee taking into consideration the distressed situationof these People, who have been long a Burthen to the Inhabitants of Charlestown;& that the Public must have been burthened with them if they had
