84 COMMONS JOURNAL, JANUARY 16, 1758–FEBRUARY 10, 1758take no more Wood of Mr. Wright at that Extravagant Rate but to give publicnotice that a large Quantity of wood is wanted for the Public Service thatPersons who have any to dispose of may make their proposals, and that hecontract with such only as will Supply the same upon the easiest Terms.The House resumed the adjourned Consideration of the Report of theCommittee appointed to Audit the Accounts of the Creditors of the Public.And the severall Paragraphs of the said Report from No. 51 to No. 72both inclusive were severally read a Second time.The 51st Paragraph being for the use of Fort Loudoun was recommitted.The 52d on an Account of William Bonneau was agreed to by the House.The 53 on an Account of Jane Boone for Lodging two officers amountingto £56 & the 54th on An Account of Rebecca Bennett for the like Serviceamounting to £31:8, the allowance of which the Committee Submit to theConsideration of the House.Resolv’d the Said Accounts be allowed.The 55th On an Account of Wm. Brandford was agreed to by the House.The 56th On an Account of William Bissett for Lodging an officeramounting to £27:2:6, the allowance of which the Committee Submitt to theConsideration of the House.Resolv’d, that the said Account be allowed.The 57th on an Account of William Bampfeild, the 58 on an Accountof Mark Anthony Bessellen, the 59th on an Account of Willm. Bird & the 60thon an Account of Robert Collins, were Severally agreed to by the House.T[he] 61st on an Account of Isham Clayton was disagreed with by thehouse.Ordered that the Said Account be returnd to be properly Certified.The 62d on an Account of Jerome Courtonne was disagreed with by thehouse.Resolvd that the said Account be provided for but not to be paid till theAccount Shall be properly attested.The 63d on a Certificate for Fort Loudoun indors’d to Daniel Cannonwas recommitted.The 64th on an Account of James Carney, the 65th on an Account ofthe Church Wardens of St. Helena, The 66th on an Account of Hugh Andersonwere agreed to by the House.The 67th on an account of Wm. Carwithin for Lodging an Officeramounting to £41:1:5, the allowance of which the Committee Submit to theConsideration of the House.Resolv’d that the said Account be allowed.The 68 & 69th on two Accounts of the Church Wardens of St. Philipwere agreed to by the House.
