The Commissaryagreed with this Person by the Lump to go to the Congrees and has paidhim. But as he was detained they think he should be allowed 40/ per daywhich amounts to £16.499. Thomas Monk, his Account for a Horse, Cart and Harness appraisedat £17, allowed.500. The Estate of John Crawford Esqr. deceased, for Flour, Corn, &c.for Powell’s Batallion appraised at £52:13. Overcharge in the 1st Article, £5,Balance £47:13 allowed.508. Henry Gallman for stabling a Horse, Pasturage &c., not appraisednor certified, £18:10. The Committee submit to the Consideration of theHouse.509. William Dickson for nine head of Cattle appraised at £84, allowed.510. John Smith, a Certificate in his Favour from Joseph Nutt for 36 Daysdriving Cattle at 15/ per Day, £27. The Committee have deducted 8/ per daywhich reduces this Charge to £12:12.511. Robert Goudy for two Waggons and ten Horses 76 Days at £5 perday, £760, One Waggon 42 Days, £210, for the hire of a Horse 10 Days at 10/,£5, making in the whole £975 to be allowed. There is a Charge for severalHorses lost, for which the Committee think Mr. Goudy ought not to be paid,as he is so well paid for his Waggons.
