2009 – 2013 FINA SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING MANUALFOR JUDGES, COACHES & REFEREESSECTION Ifrom 4 different competitions, and at least two of these must be fromevaluators from a country other than that of the judge.At least one of these must be in the immediately preceding two years.One of the evaluations must be from a Senior competition and one from aJunior or Age Group competition.Judges may be reclassified on the FINA Judges List from A to B, or from Bto G <strong>for</strong> lack of activity.5. PRACTICE JUDGINGOf the four evaluations required <strong>for</strong> reclassification, one may be as aPractice Judge. For World Junior Championships, World Championships,the FINA World Cup and the Olympic Qualification Tournament,Federations may submit applications <strong>for</strong> Practice Judges to the HonorarySecretary of the FINA TSSC. Applications must be submitted no later than60 days prior to the competition. Federations are permitted to have onePractice Judge per competition, and the Host Federation is permitted tohave two Practice Judges. Practice <strong>judges</strong> are not permitted at the OlympicGames.6. EVALUATION REPORTSThe evaluation data is reviewed and compiled into individual judge’sreports by the FINA evaluator.- Each report is included in the Judge’s file to become part of thebasis <strong>for</strong> decisions regarding remaining on the List and/or <strong>for</strong>classification to A or B status.- The reports serve as a basis <strong>for</strong> constructive feedback to the judgewith the intention of improving international judging standards- The evaluation files will be used to assist the TSSC in selecting<strong>judges</strong> <strong>for</strong> World Championships, Olympic Games and OlympicQualification Tournaments.7. Each FINA sanctioned evaluator shall, to the best of their judgment,determine how accurately a judge scores routines and figures according tothe criteria set <strong>for</strong>th in the FINA Handbook.
