2009 – 2013 FINA SYNCHRONISED SWIMMING MANUALFOR JUDGES, COACHES & REFEREESSECTION IIIThe exchanges can be viewed as the glue to fitting the parts of the puzzletogether seamlessly to make a whole cohesive routine.The rule states a new part begins where the previous part ends. How far isacceptable?• The intention is that the routine should flow and be logical not requiring thejudges or T.V. cameras to search for the next competitor.• The distance must be safe for the competitors.
