Vacation Time for Full Time Salary AssociatesSalary associates receive vacation pay when they go on vacation as oppose to on eachpay check. This means that even though an hourly associate may only regularlywork 2 shifts per week, they must have 2 calendar weeks free from working any shiftsin a given year from January to December 31 st .** for club associates the calendar week is from Thursday to Wednesday.When associates first begin working for <strong>GoodLife</strong>, they don’t have to take vacation timefrom their start date to December 31 st that year.ExampleSally is a part time hourly Customer Service Representative that works every Monday <strong>and</strong>Tuesday each week <strong>and</strong> she started with <strong>GoodLife</strong> on July 1 st 2008. Between July 1 st <strong>and</strong>December 31 st 2008 Sally doesn’t have to take any vacation time.From January 2009 to December 31 st 2009 Sally has to have 2 calendar weeks whereshe isn’t scheduled to work any shifts. If Sally requests Monday April 6 th 2009 off withher Manager to go to Canada’s Wonderl<strong>and</strong>, her manager can give her that day off <strong>and</strong>not schedule her for any other shifts during that calendar week <strong>and</strong> this will count asher 1 calendar week of vacation.
