Undrafted rookie free agent wide receiver out of Appalachian State whose solid hands and route-running ability earned<br />

him a spot on the Lions practice squad in 2014.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Finished his career at Appalachian State as the school’s all-time leader with 208 career receptions and ranked fifth in<br />

program history with 2,108 receiving yards. Caught 40-plus passes in three of his four seasons as a Mountaineer (48, 2011;<br />

79, 2012; 78, 2013) and combined for a total of 2,188 yards of total offense.<br />

2013: Played in all 12 games as a senior, ending the season with 78 receptions, one shy of his career-high 79 set in 2012,<br />

706 receiving yards (58.8 avg) and two touchdowns. Also carried the ball twice for 17 yards.<br />

‣ ¾ His 78 receptions topped the Southern Conference as he received second team all-conference honors for the secondconsecutive<br />

season. His 78 receptions also rank fifth in the Appalachian State record books.<br />

2012: Named Second Team All-Southern Conference for the first time in his career after turning in a career-high 795 receiving<br />

yards on 79 catches (66.2 avg) and four touchdowns. Had at least five receptions in 11-of-12 games on the season. Also<br />

threw two touchdown passes and returned one punt for 23 yards.<br />

‣ ¾ Caught his first touchdown pass of the season on a 25-yard grab in the season opener vs. Montana.<br />

‣ ¾ Posted a career-high 11 receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown, while also throwing a touchdown pass in the<br />

So-Con title game vs. Furman.<br />

2011: Started 10-of-12 games as a sophomore, concluding the season with 48 receptions for 564 yards and three touchdowns,<br />

ranking second on the team in all three categories. Also carried the ball a career-high eight times for 44 yards (5.5 avg).<br />

‣ ¾ Set a season-high in receptions with eight for 79 yards at Furman.<br />

‣ ¾ Helped mount a 21-point comeback at Elon with five receptions for 47 yards as ASU went on to win the game, 28-21.<br />

2010: Contributed primarily on special teams, particularly on kickoff coverage, in his first full season as a Mountaineer,<br />

appearing in 12-of-13 games. Made five tackles on special teams and added three receptions for 43 yards for the season<br />

on offense.<br />

‣ ¾ Hauled in his first-career reception with an 11-yard grab vs. Jacksonville.<br />

2009: Redshirted.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Amassed nearly 3,000 yards of total offense at quarterback as a senior at Northern Durham (N.C.) High School under Head<br />

Coach Anthony Sullivan, where he was a four-year starter at quarterback. Helped lead Northern Durham to a 4-3 PAC 6<br />

Conference finish and its first playoff appearance in three years.<br />

‣ ¾ Majored in health promotion at Appalachian State and completed an internship in the program’s strength and conditioning<br />

department during the summer of 2013.<br />
