‣ ¾ Signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted rookie free agent<br />

on May 7, <strong>2015</strong>.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Played in 47 career games at Memphis and started in 42, including<br />

the final 29 games of his collegiate career. Saw action in 2,912 of<br />

the 3,108 plays over his four-year career (93.7-percent) and was a<br />

member of the team’s leadership council as both a junior and senior.<br />

2014: Helped lead Memphis to its first conference title since 1971<br />

and just the program’s second 10-win season (first since 1938).<br />

Blocked for the Tigers’ offensive line as the starting right tackle in<br />

all 13 games as the team closed out the season with a seven-game<br />

winning streak.<br />

‣ ¾ Blocked for a Memphis offense that accounted for 5,552 total<br />

yards of offense (427.1 yards per game), the first time the Tigers<br />

recorded 5,000 or more yards of offense since 2008.<br />

‣ ¾ Offense racked up 54 touchdowns on the way to the team’s<br />

school-record 58 total touchdowns.<br />

‣ ¾ Played all 97 plays against BYU in the Miami Beach Bowl,<br />

including seven plays over the course of two overtime periods<br />

in the Tigers’ win.<br />

2013: Played in all 12 games (10 starts) and earned a spot on Head<br />

Coach Justin Fuente’s leadership council as a junior. Member of<br />

an offensive line that blocked for a redshirt freshman quarterback<br />

who became just the second rookie to pass for over 2,000 yards<br />

in a season.<br />

‣ ¾ Ended the season by playing in every snap over the last<br />

four games against South Florida, Louisville, Temple and<br />

Connecticut, totaling 242 snaps.<br />

2012: Started all 12 games as a sophomore and was on the field for<br />

all 772 offensive snaps. Blocked for an offensive unit that raised its<br />

total offense in Conference USA games from 243.0 yards per game<br />

to 327.1 yards per game (26-percent increase).<br />

2011: As a redshirt freshman, competed in 10 games and made seven<br />

starts along the offensive line. Wrapped up the season by playing<br />

in 438-consecutive snaps over the course of the final seven games.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Played his high school football for coach Cedric Miller at Southwind<br />

(Tenn.) High School where he honed his craft at left tackle. Earned<br />

First Team Offensive All-District 15-AAA honors as a senior and<br />

served as team captain for three seasons.<br />

‣ ¾ Helped block for RB Daveonn Porter, who rushed for 200-plus<br />

yards in back-to-back games and logged 546 yards in six games<br />

before he was injured.<br />

‣ ¾ Also played center for the Southwind basketball team.<br />

‣ ¾ Received his bachelor’s degree in professional studies in<br />

correctional administration from Memphis and is pursuing a<br />

‣ ¾ Signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted rookie free agent<br />

on May 7, <strong>2015</strong>.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Holds the Notre Dame record for field goals made with 57 and<br />

finished his college career ranking third on the school’s all-time<br />

scoring list with 288 points and second among kickers. Among the<br />

other top spots he holds in the Irish record books include singlegame<br />

field goals (five), single-game points (17), single-season field<br />

goals (23), single-season 50-yard field goals (three) and career<br />

50-yard field goals (four).<br />

2014: Converted on 14-of-24 field goal attempts as a senior and<br />

was named to the 2014 Senior Bowl Watch List. Also doubled as the<br />

team’s punter and recorded 51 punts, 42 of which were not returned.<br />

Recorded 12 punts of at least 50 yards and averaged 63.3 yards per<br />

kickoff (81 for 5,131 yards)<br />

‣ ¾ His third-quarter field goal against Rice gave him 202 career<br />

points, making him the sixth Irish kicker to surpass the<br />

200-point plateau.<br />

‣ ¾ Booted a pair of 50+-yard punts vs. Purdue, the second game in<br />

his career with two 50+-yard punts in one game.<br />

‣ ¾ Connected on a 32-yard field goal as time expired to give the<br />

Irish a 31-28 victory over No. 22 LSU in the Music City Bowl.<br />

2013: Saw action in all 13 games as both the punter and placekicker,<br />

going 20-for-26 on field goals, including a school-record three<br />

field goals of at least 50 yards. Was perfect on 38 extra point<br />

attempts and averaged 41.1 yards per punt in his first season on<br />

the punting job.<br />

‣ ¾ Made a career-high-tying five field goals in Notre Dame’s 29-16<br />

win over Rutgers in the 2013 New Era Pinstripe Bowl. The five<br />

field goals also equaled an NCAA bowl game record.<br />

‣ ¾ Had his longest punt of the season (56 yards) at Pittsburgh.<br />

‣ ¾ Scored a season-high 13 points in the win over Arizona State,<br />

connecting on three-of-four field goals and four extra points.<br />

2012: Converted 23-of-31 field goal attempts, becoming the second<br />

kicker in school history to connect on at least 20 field goals in a<br />

single season. His 23 field goals also surpassed the single-season<br />

record held by John Carney (21, 1986).<br />

‣ ¾ Kicked off 71 times for a combined 4,445 yards, averaging 62.6<br />

yards per kick, and recorded a touchback on 26 occasions.<br />

‣ ¾ Set a school record for single-season points by kicking (97) with<br />

23 field goals and 28 extra points.<br />

2011: Played in all 13 games as a freshman as the team’s kickoff<br />

specialist. Kicked off 71 times, totaling 4,635 yards and 12<br />

touchbacks. Also made two tackles on special teams.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

At Plymouth (Mich.) High School, set Michigan state high school<br />

record with 19 made field goals as a senior in 2010, including six-ofnine<br />

from 50 yards or more. Also averaged 43.2 yards per punt and<br />

60-of-63 kickoffs resulted in touchbacks. Played in Offense-Defense<br />

All-American Bowl in Myrtle Beach, S.C. and was rated as the ninthbest<br />

player in Michigan by the Detroit Free Press. Tabbed the nation’s<br />

best kicker by Scout.com and named First Team All-State by the<br />

Associated Press following his senior season.<br />

‣ ¾ Graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in<br />
