‣ ¾ Signed by the Detroit Lions as an undrafted rookie free agent on May 12, 2014.
PRO
Six-foot nine offensive tackle with unrivaled length who joined S Jerome Couplin as the only other undrafted rookie free
agents to make the Lions’ opening-day 53-man roster in 2014.
2014: Started 2014 rookie campaign in a reserve role in Week 2 at Carolina (9/14) and saw action in 15 games on the
season. Shared most of his time with T Garrett Reynolds in the right tackle rotation.
‣ ¾ Saw action in a reserved role in Week 12 at New England (11/23).
‣ ¾ Part of offensive line effort that gained 28 first downs in Week 13 vs. Chicago (11/27). Earned his first-career NFL start
at left tackle, replacing injured T Riley Reiff.

A two-time All-Big 12 performer for the Wildcats, Lucas started 26 games at left tackle for Kansas State.
2013: Started all 13 games as a senior, including the Wildcats’ bowl game vs. Michigan (12/28). Named to the Outland
Trophy watch list in his final year.
2012: Took over the starting duties (13 games) at left tackle and helped Kansas State capture the 2012 Big 12 title as he
earned First Team All-Big 12 honors from the league’s coaches and second team accolades from the Associated Press and
Phil Steele for the first time in his career.
2010-11: Appeared in 12 games as a reserve offensive lineman as a freshman and sophomore.
PERSONAL
Started three years at Edna Karr (La.) High School where he helped the Cougars clinch consecutive district championships
in 2007 and 2008. Earned first team all-district honors and was named the Outstanding Offensive Lineman of the Year.
