• His performance at Tampa Bay was his second multi-sack game of the season.
‣ ¾ Registered two sacks (13 yards), three solo tackles, including two tackles for loss and two quarterback hits, in Week
13 vs. Green Bay (11/28).
• He became the first Lions player with two-plus sacks in back-to-back games since DE Cliff Avril in Weeks 14-15 of
the 2011 season.

COLLEGE
Started the final nine games of his career at Brigham Young, appearing in 31 total games, where he registered 72 tackles
(39 solo), 4.5 sacks (20 yards), 13 tackles for loss, 10 pass defenses, one interception and one forced fumble.
‣ ¾ Prior to joining the BYU football team in 2010, competed for the Cougars track team and ran personal bests in the
100-meter dash (10.91) and 200-meter dash (21.89).
2012: An All-American Super Sleeper selection by The NFL Draft Report, Ansah also received All-American Honorable
Mention from Pro Football Weekly and was an All-Independent First Team choice by Phil Steele.
‣ ¾ Finished his senior year with 62 tackles (35 solo), ranking fourth-best on the team. Also ranked second on the team with
4.5 sacks (20 yards) and placed third on the team with 13 tackles for loss, one interception and one fumble recovery.

Youngest of five children, son of Edward and Elizabeth. Hails from Accra, Ghana.
‣ ¾ Originally tried to walk on to BYU’s basketball team as a power forward after watching his brother play basketball in Ghana.

‣ ¾ Speaks Twi and Fante, two local Ghanaian dialects.
