to a win over Notre Dame in the BCS National Championship Game. Played a key role in the running game as an edge blocker<br />

for a Tide offense that averaged 224.5 yards per game.<br />

the day.<br />

Cook. Was ranked as the No. 26 defensive end nationally by ESPN.com and was listed as the No. 4 defensive end nationally<br />

and the No. 10 overall prospect on the Alabama Top 35 list by Rivals.com.<br />

‣ ¾ Had more than 400 receiving yards and caught five touchdowns as a tight end his senior season.<br />

‣ ¾ Also earned All-Area and Honorable Mention All-State honors in basketball.<br />
