to 10-4. The Lions would get off to a sluggish start allowing
Minnesota to go up early. RB Matt Asiata scored on a two-yard
run to put the Vikings up 7-0 in the first. With less than 11 minutes
to play in the second quarter, Minnesota scored again when QB
up, after an interception by S Glover Quin, as Lions QB Matthew
Detroit within seven. CB Darius Slay picked off Bridgewater for
the second time of the day to give the Lions the ball with less
than four minutes to play in the half. Detroit drove the ball down
pitched a shutout in the second half of the game against the
bring the Lions within one with a quarter to go. The Lions needed
one more stop and a field goal to win the game. With less than
eight minutes to play, the Vikings would attempt a field that was
blocked by DE Jason Jones. Detroit drove the ball down the field
