on May 7, <strong>2015</strong>.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Started 40 of the 41 games he played in during his four seasons at<br />

Utah State, finishing his career with 226 total tackles (101 solo),<br />

eight interceptions, 21 pass defenses, one forced fumble and two<br />

fumble recoveries. Member of a Utah State team that reached four<br />

consecutive bowl games, including three consecutive bowl wins,<br />

during his time as an Aggie, both of which are school records.<br />

Member of a senior class that won 37 games, also a school record.<br />

2014: Started all 14 games and earned Honorable Mention All-<br />

Mountain West honors after finishing fourth on the team in total<br />

tackles with 76 (34 solo). Also ranked second on the team with nine<br />

pass defenses and tied for second with two interceptions. Was also<br />

an Academic All-Mountain West selection.<br />

‣ ¾ Picked up a season-high 10 tackles in his final collegiate game<br />

against UTEP in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.<br />

‣ ¾ Grabbed his two interceptions on the season against Idaho State<br />

and UNLV, respectively.<br />

2013: Earned his first All-Mountain West honors as an honorable<br />

mention selection and concluded his junior season with 77 total<br />

tackles (37 solo), five interceptions, two fumble recoveries and<br />

six pass defenses. Had six or more tackles in eight games over the<br />

course of the season.<br />

‣ ¾ Named to SI.com and CBSSports.com’s All-Bowl Team following<br />

Utah State’s 21-14 win against No. 24 Northern Illinois in the<br />

San Diego County Credit Union Poinsetta Bowl. Finished with 11<br />

tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception in the contest.<br />

‣ ¾ Picked off passes against Boise State, Hawaii and Northern<br />

Illinois.<br />

2012: Finished the season ranking fifth on the team with 73 total<br />

tackles (30 solo) after playing in all 13 games (12 starts) for the first<br />

time in his college career.<br />

‣ ¾ Intercepted his first career pass against Toledo in the Famous<br />

Idaho Potato Bowl.<br />

2011: Missed the 2011 season due to injury.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Was a first-team all-state selection by the Honolulu Star-Bulletin,<br />

helping Punahou (Hawaii) High School to a 12-1 record as a senior.<br />

Led the school to a state championship during his junior season,<br />

its first in program history.<br />

state championships in both. Holds the Hawaii state record in<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Played in 49 career games for the Knights, anchoring primarily the<br />

left tackle position along the offensive line.<br />

2014: Started all 13 games at left tackle and was named to the All-<br />

American Athletic Conference Second Team. Also earned a spot on<br />

Phil Steele’s Postseason All-Conference Second Team.<br />

‣ ¾ Named the team’s Outstanding Offensive Lineman at the annual<br />

awards banquet.<br />

2013: Started 11 games at left tackle, missing only the Penn State<br />

and Memphis games due to injury.<br />

2012: Voted Second Team All-Conference USA as a junior and named<br />

to Phil Steele’s All-Conference USA Second Team after starting all<br />

14 games at left tackle.<br />

2011: Selected to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team after<br />

appearing in 11 games in his first season of college football, earning<br />

four starts along the way.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Played for head coach Billy Rolle at Miami Northwestern (Fla.) High<br />

School, where he was rated as the eighth-best offensive guard in<br />

the nation by Rivals.com. Selected to play in the Under Armour All-<br />

American Game and was a first-team all-state pick and All-Dade<br />

County selection.<br />

‣ ¾ Was also recruited by Stanford, Louisville, Alabama, LSU,<br />

Tennessee, Michigan and South Florida.<br />

‣ ¾ Majored in interpersonal/organizational communication at<br />

Central Florida.<br />
