One of the top pass rushers in the Canadian Football League for two seasons (2009-10), Hunt entered the NFL with the
Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 where he played three seasons. Prior to joining the Lions in 2015, Hunt spent 2014 training
camp with the Indianapolis Colts.
2014: Joined the Colts on August 6, 2014 during training before being released by the team on August 30.
2012: Played in 13 games in his second season with the Eagles and continued to provide depth along the defensive line as
he finished with seven solo tackles, one sack (11 yards) and one tackle for loss.
2011: In his first NFL season, Hunt played in nine games for the Eagles and totaled eight tackles (seven solo), two sacks
(14 solo) two tackles for loss and four quarterback hits as a rotational member of the defensive line.
‣ ¾ Tabbed his first-career sack against Miami (12/11), bringing down QB J.P. Losman for a safety.
‣ ¾ Recorded a sack two weeks in a row with a six-yard takedown on Jets QB Mark Sanchez (12/18).
2009-10: Amassed 19 sacks in two seasons with the CFL’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers, including a league-leading 16 in 2010.

Four-year member of the Houston Cougars defense where he finished his career as the school’s all-time leader in sacks
with 34. Also registered 188 tackles, including 51 tackles for loss, 17 pass defenses, six forced fumbles, two fumble
recoveries and one interception.

awards.
