COLLEGE<br />

Played in 48 career games at Wayne State and finished in the<br />

program’s record books, ranking fourth all-time in rushing yards<br />

(2,791), seventh in rushing touchdowns (24) and eighth in rushing<br />

attempts (510). His 5.47 career yards per carry average also ranks<br />

third behind only Vic Zucco (1953-54) and Lions RB and former Wayne<br />

State product Joique Bell.<br />

2014: Voted First Team All-GLIAC and named Wayne State’s<br />

Offensive Most Valuable Player as a senior. Started all 11 games<br />

and became the first player in program history with back-to-back<br />

200-yard games and had three 200-yard games during the season.<br />

Finished his senior season with 287 carries for 1,578 yards and 16<br />

touchdowns. Also selected to the USA College Football All-America<br />

Second Team.<br />

‣ ¾ His 1,578 rushing yards in 2014 is the fourth-highest singleseason<br />

output in program history, while his 16 touchdowns<br />

rank sixth.<br />

‣ ¾ Including his three 200-yard games, altogether posted seven<br />

outings with 100 yards or more.<br />

‣ ¾ Racked up five multi-touchdown games, including three threetouchdown<br />

performances against Carson-Newman, Malone and<br />

Lake Erie College, respectively.<br />

2013: Recipient of the Courtney “Cortez” Smith Award, which<br />

recognizes a member of the Wayne State University football program<br />

whose contributions include: a positive approach to all aspects<br />

of the program both on and off the field; noticeable improvement<br />

to academic growth and progress, as well as skill and physical<br />

development; and finally, growing spiritually and contributing to<br />

the overall vitality of the football program.<br />

‣ ¾ Played in all 11 games and finished the season with 139 carries<br />

for 665 yards and five touchdowns.<br />

2012: Saw action in all 10 games as a sophomore and concluded the<br />

season with 62 carries for 387 yards and one touchdown.<br />

‣ ¾ Tallied a Wayne State season-high 73-yard run against Hillsdale.<br />

2011: As a freshman, played in all 16 games, scoring his first career<br />

touchdown run vs. Urbana on an 89-yard carry.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Graduated from Redford (Mich.) Thurston High School where he<br />

earned two varsity letters in football for the Eagles under coach Bob<br />

Snell. Finished his senior season with 84 tackles, five sacks, as well<br />

as 1,056 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground.<br />

‣ ¾ Named to the Detroit News 2009 All-Metro West First Team as<br />

a linebacker and was a 2009 Associated Press Division 3-4 All<br />

State Honorable Mention selection.<br />
