TRANSACTIONS<br />

‣ ¾ Drafted by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round (240th overall) of the <strong>2015</strong> NFL Draft.<br />

PRO<br />

Massive offensive tackle who comes to Detroit following a decorated career at South Carolina where he protected the left<br />

side of the offensive line. Expected to provide valuable depth along the Lions’ young rotation of tackles that includes T<br />

Riley Reiff, T LaAdrian Waddle and T Cornelius Lucas.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Began his college career at South Carolina as a transition player from offensive line to defensive line, before permanently<br />

switching back to offensive line as a redshirt sophomore in 2012. Logged 35 career starts in 38 games during his time as<br />

a Gamecock.<br />

2014: Started every game in 2014 as a senior, marking his third-consecutive year as a starter along the offensive line. Was<br />

named a preseason Second Team All-SEC selection by the SEC media and coaches.<br />

‣ ¾ Named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week vs. Georgia.<br />

2013: Started all 13 games at left tackle as a redshirt junior and was a member of the SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.<br />

2012: Returned from a brief stint on the defensive line to his more familiar side of the ball as he worked his way into the<br />

starting lineup at tackle.<br />

‣ ¾ Made his first-career start at left tackle against Missouri.<br />

‣ ¾ Started nine of the final 10 games of the season.<br />

2011: Transitioned from offensive line to defensive line in spring ball. Did not see any game action.<br />

2010: Redshirted as a true freshman.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Played his high school football for coach Bob Bryant at Havelock (N.C.) High School, graduating in 2010. Played mostly<br />

offensive guard, but saw action along all five positions on the offensive line and some defensive line. Selected to play in<br />

the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.<br />

‣ ¾ Rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.<br />

‣ ¾ Earned a degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from South Carolina.<br />
