COLLEGE
Joins a talented secondary and will look to contribute at the
corner position.
2014: Earned Preseason All-Sun Belt Second Team Honors. Started
in all 12 games of the season. Notched 29 tackles (23 solo).
‣ ¾ Garnered three tackles against Duke.
‣ ¾ Notched a season-high six tackles at Georgia Southern.
‣ ¾ Tallied three tackles and his first career interception against
Georgia State.
2013: As a junior, started all 12 games as the team’s cornerback.
Ranked fifth in the Sun Belt Conference with nine pass break ups.
Finished the season with 31 tackles (28 solo) and nine pass defenses.
‣ ¾ Forced a fumble in Troy’s victory over Southern Alabama.

starts at cornerback. Tallied 16 tackles (12 solo) with one fumble
recovery on the year.

‣ ¾ Had four stops against Middle Tennessee and snagged a fumble
recovery vs. ULM.
‣ ¾ Made his first career start at Navy and garnered three tackles

PERSONAL
Became a full-time starter in 2010 for the Fighting Irish after
redshirting in 2008 and seeing limited action in 2009. Finished his
career at Notre Dame by playing in 48 games (35 starts).
‣ ¾ Named a Third Team All-American by the Associated Press
during his final season in 2012.
‣ ¾ Part of an offensive line that helped the Irish average more than
200 yards per game in both rushing and receiving during the 2012
season en route to the team’s appearance in the BCS National
Championship Game.
PERSONAL
Attended Mosley High School. Was named First Team All-Bay County
as a defensive back and notched 58 tackles as a senior in 2010 with
seven deflected passes and four interceptions.

at SMU, including 37 starts. Finished with 9,761 passing yards on
908-of-1,548 passing (58.6 percent) that included 49 touchdowns
and 45 interceptions. Added 1,013 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns
on the ground for a total of 10,774 all-purpose yards for his career.
‣ ¾ Prior to transferring to SMU, began his career at Texas where he
started 14-of-24 games and connected on 305-of-538 passes
(56.7-percent) for 3,301 yards and 13 touchdowns.
‣ ¾ Holds the SMU record for career 300-yard passing games with
nine and is second in both pass completions (603) and passing
yards (6,460).
PERSONAL
Attended Lake Travis (Texas) High School where he earned 2008
Offensive Player of the Year honors from USA Today as a senior.
Guided his school to the 2007 Texas UIL Class 4A Division II State
Championship. Upon completing the 2007 season, he broke state
records for completions (359), pass attempts (555) and yards (4,827).
‣ ¾ Born in Buffalo, N.Y., where his father, Gale, played for the Buffalo
Bills. Later moved to San Diego, Calif. when his father signed
with the San Diego Chargers.
