‣ ¾ Drafted by the Detroit Lions in the fourth round (113th overall) of the <strong>2015</strong> NFL Draft.<br />

PRO<br />

Comes to Detroit following a career at Auburn where he displayed a knack for versatility, playing multiple positions along<br />

the defensive line, and will join the Lions’ defensive line as one of the best young position groups in the NFL.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Originally a defensive end, Wright made the switch to defensive tackle to close out the 2012 season and concluded his college<br />

career in 2014 as one of the leaders of the Auburn defense. Finished his collegiate career with 27 starts in 52 games and 86<br />

total tackles (44 solo), 20.5 tackles for loss (79 yards), six sacks (42 yards), one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.<br />

2014: Earned Honorable Mention All-SEC honors from the Associated Press as a senior and ended the season with 24<br />

total tackles (10 solo), 4.5 tackles for loss and one sack. Was named a game captain for all 13 games of the 2014 season.<br />

‣ ¾ Named to the Outland Trophy and Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list to start the season.<br />

‣ ¾ Picked up a sack and two tackles for loss against San Jose State.<br />

‣ ¾ Recorded three or more tackles in four games over the course of the season.<br />

2013: Started 11 of Auburn’s 14 games, including the final 10, and finished the season with a career-high 31 total tackles<br />

(16 solo), 8.5 tackles for loss, a career-high three sacks and one fumble recovery. Earned Honorable Mention All-SEC<br />

honors for the first time in his career.<br />

‣ ¾ Totaled four tackles, three tackles for loss and two sacks vs. Ole Miss.<br />

‣ ¾ Made four tackles in the win over Georgia.<br />

‣ ¾ Sacked Alabama QB A.J. McCarron and finished with four tackles against the Crimson Tide.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Played for coach Dell McGee at Carver (Ga.) High School where he was listed as the No. 3 defensive tackle and No. 26 player<br />

overall by ESPN and Scouts Inc. following his senior season. Selected to play in the 2011 Under Armour All-American Game as<br />

a senior. Finished his high school career with 88 tackles, 11 sacks, 12 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles his senior year.<br />
