‣ ¾ Drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round (200th overall) of the <strong>2015</strong> NFL Draft.<br />

PRO<br />

Joins CB Alex Carter as the second Lions rookie cornerback to be drafted in <strong>2015</strong>, and will look to provide depth at both<br />

the outside and inside corner position.<br />

COLLEGE<br />

A four-year cornerback at Texas who played in 52 career games (49 starts) and ended his career tied for ninth on the Texas<br />

all-time list for interceptions (11), while his 37 career pass defenses are also tied for ninth in school history. Earned All-Big<br />

12 honors three times (2011, 2013, 2014) and started 48 of his final 49 games. Did not miss a game in his Texas career.<br />

2014: Earned 2014 First Team All-Big 12 honors from ESPN and was a second-team pick by the Associated Press and the<br />

league’s coaches. Was invited to the <strong>2015</strong> Senior Bowl following his final season at Texas where he finished with a career-high<br />

73 total tackles (52 solo), two sacks, three interceptions, five pass defenses and one forced fumble in 13 games (13 starts).<br />

‣ ¾ Was a member of the watch list for the 2014 Chuck Bednarik, Jim Thorpe and Nagurski Trophy.<br />

‣ ¾ Had five tackles and an interception against BYU.<br />

‣ ¾ Posted three tackles, one sack and one interception against Kansas.<br />

‣ ¾ Named the team’s defensive player of the game following a five-tackle performance against Texas Tech. Also forced a<br />

2013: As a junior, played in all 13 games (12 starts) as the team’s cornerback/nickel. Ranked first on the team in pass<br />

defenses with 10 and was an Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selection.<br />

‣ ¾ Notched a season-high eight tackles, including one for a loss, one sack and one pass breakup against rival Oklahoma.<br />

Earned one of the team’s defensive player of the game awards for his performance in the game.<br />

‣ ¾ Posted four stops, one QB pressure and matched a career high with three pass defenses against Texas Tech.<br />

2012: Finished his sophomore campaign tied for sixth in the Big 12 in interceptions with four. Led the team in interceptions<br />

(four) and pass defenses (seven) and tied for fourth on the team in solo stops (39).<br />

‣ ¾ Grabbed a career-high two interceptions against Ole Miss, both of which led to touchdown drives for Texas.<br />

‣ ¾ Scored on a defensive two-point return after a blocked extra point attempt on the game’s first scoring drive.<br />

2011: Named to the CBS Sports Freshman All-American team and was the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year. Also<br />

earned Second Team All-Big 12 honors from the conference’s coaches and Honorable Mention honors from the Associated<br />

Press. Tied a school freshmen record with his team-high four interceptions to go along with 51 tackles (33 solo), 15 pass<br />

defenses and two forced fumbles.<br />

‣ ¾ As a kick returner, also returned 19 kickoffs for 371 yards and nine punts for 181 yards.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Coached by Finis Vanover at Angleton (Texas) High School where he was a two-time all-state and four-time all-district<br />

selection at multiple positions. Invited to play in the 2011 Under Armour All-American Game and was a member of ESPNU’s<br />

top 150 national prospects. Was a four-year starter at Angleton and finished his career with 8,265 all-purpose yards and<br />

83 touchdowns on offense, rushing for 4,409 yards and 58 touchdowns, passing for 1,938 yards and 11 touchdowns and<br />

catching 10 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, totaled 237 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, six sacks,<br />

10 interceptions, 52 pass breakups, 11 forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, seven blocked kicks and returned four<br />

interceptions for scores.<br />

‣ ¾ Also lettered three years in track and was a two-year letterman in basketball.<br />

‣ ¾ Brother, Quentin Jammer, was a three-year starter and All-American defensive back at Texas (1997-98, 2000, 01) and<br />

played for the Denver Broncos in 2013 after 11 seasons with the San Diego Chargers (2002-12).<br />

‣ ¾ Earned a bachelor’s degree in physical culture and sports with a minor in social work from Texas and was a member of<br />

the Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor roll in 2013.<br />
