COLLEGE<br />

Ranks third in Appalachian State history with 226 punts and 9,397 yards and sixth with a 41.6-yard punting average. Became<br />

only the second specialist in Appalachian State history to be selected in the NFL Draft since Harold Alexander was drafted<br />

by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round (67th overall) of the 1993 NFL Draft.<br />

2012: Became a multi-dimensional threat on special teams, going 7-for-10 on field goal attempts in addition to his punting<br />

duties. Had a stellar senior season, racking up a career-high 2,755 punting yards on 60 punts (45.9 avg, the largest of his<br />

career) with a long of 68 yards, nearly tying his career-long of 69.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

A former soccer standout, played just one year of high school football where he averaged 69 yards per kickoff and was<br />

named all-county following his only gridiron campaign at Starr’s Mill (Ga.) High School under Head Coach Mike Earwood.<br />

‣ ¾ Four-year soccer letterman and earned all-state recognition as a junior.<br />

‣ ¾ A member of the Dean’s List and ASU athletics’ and Southern Conference academic honor rolls, majored in business<br />

marketing (pre-law).<br />
