Seventh-year safety that brings an experienced skill set to the Lions’ secondary after spending four seasons with the<br />

Houston Texans (2009-12). Aligned with fellow S James Ihedigbo as one of the top veteran defensive back combinations<br />

in the League and earned the first Pro Bowl nod of his career following the 2014 season. With seven interceptions to cap<br />

off 2014, Quin became the first Lions player to lead the NFL in interceptions since Hall of Fame CB Lem Barney in 1967<br />

when he registered 10 during his exceptional rookie campaign. He is also the first Lions defensive player to record seven<br />

interceptions in a season since S Kurt Schulz (7) in 2000.<br />

‣ ¾ Quin is now the fourth Lions defensive player (fifth time) to lead the NFL in interceptions during a season.<br />

2014: Had a breakout season in which he finished third on the team in total tackles with 73 (57 solo), and also tallied 10<br />

pass breakups and a League-leading seven interceptions (117).<br />
