‣ ¾ Had 88 yards on five catches and also rushed twice on a lateral and an end-around for 29 yards vs. Jacksonville (9/22).<br />

COLLEGE<br />

Ended his collegiate career for the Fighting Irish ranking third in Notre Dame history with 157 receptions and established<br />

the team’s single-season record with 93 receptions during his senior season. Career totals include 37 games (22 starts),<br />

157 receptions, 2,707 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns. Also ranks eighth on the Irish all-time record list with 909 yards<br />

on kickoff returns and second with 4,130 all-purpose yards.<br />

‣ ¾ As a junior, was a consensus All-American First Team selection and was the recipient of the Biletnikoff Award, given<br />

to the nation’s premier wide receiver.<br />

PERSONAL<br />

Attended Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, Tenn.) High School where he was a USA Today Second Team All-America<br />

selection (defense). Carried the ball 140 times for 1,413 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior, while also tacking on 28<br />

receptions for 510 yards and six receiving touchdowns. Also picked off three passes as a defensive back.<br />

‣ ¾ Ranked as the No. 11 player on the ESPN 150 list and rated as one of the top 250 players nationally by Rivals.com.<br />

‣ ¾ Also drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 42nd round of the 2007 MLB Draft after being a standout outfielder<br />

for the Notre Dame baseball team.<br />

‣ ¾ Father, Golden Tate, Jr., played wide receiver at Tennessee State and was a fifth-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts<br />
