I said, I would pour out my fury upon <strong>the</strong>m, to<br />

accomplish my anger against <strong>the</strong>m in <strong>the</strong><br />

wilderness. Never<strong>the</strong>less I withdrew mine h<strong>and</strong>,<br />

<strong>and</strong> wrought for my name's sake, that it should not<br />

be polluted in <strong>the</strong> sight <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> hea<strong>the</strong>n, in whose<br />

sight I brought <strong>the</strong>m forth. I lifted up mine h<strong>and</strong><br />

unto <strong>the</strong>m also in <strong>the</strong> wilderness, that I would<br />

scatter <strong>the</strong>m among <strong>the</strong> hea<strong>the</strong>n, <strong>and</strong> disperse <strong>the</strong>m<br />

h<strong>and</strong> to <strong>the</strong>m in <strong>the</strong> wilderness, that he would give<br />

<strong>the</strong>m up to dispersion among <strong>the</strong>ir enemies after<br />

<strong>the</strong>y had entered <strong>the</strong> l<strong>and</strong> <strong>of</strong> promise. Thus it is<br />

seen that <strong>the</strong> Hebrews while in <strong>the</strong> wilderness laid<br />

<strong>the</strong> foundation for <strong>the</strong>ir subsequent dispersion from<br />
