study, than the heroism of the battlefield, we shall<br />

permit these martyr-patriots to pass before us one<br />

by one. The clamor that drowned their dy<strong>in</strong>g words<br />

has long s<strong>in</strong>ce been hushed; <strong>and</strong> the voices of the<br />

scaffold of Prague, ris<strong>in</strong>g clear <strong>and</strong> loud above the<br />
