The fourth to offer up his life was Gaspar,<br />

Baron Kaplirz of Sulowitz, a knight of eighty-six<br />

years of age. He had faithfully served four<br />

emperors. Before go<strong>in</strong>g to the scaffold he called for<br />

Rosacius, <strong>and</strong> said, "How often have I entreated<br />

that God would be pleased to take me out of this<br />
