Hence, the exposure to this environment
required several specific features for the
landing and car doors. Wittur supplied Hydra
doors with glazed panels. Specifically, heated
guide rails were installed on the car door
operator to avoid issues in the movement
of the panels. In addition, the entire operator
structure was made of AISI 304 stainless steel,
a material that is extremely resistant
to corrosion.
The door sills are made of stainless steel with
thermal resistances preventing
the formation of ice and the consequent lift stop.
In addition, all the electrical
components installed on the doors are IP-54
watertight.
Special care was focused in the operational
reliability, working on sizing and structural
reinforcements and using special materials for
shoes and other wear components.
Glazed doors are fireproof according to
EN 81-58. From an aesthetic point of view,
glass doors have been chosen, with a supporting
structure made entirely of AISI 304 stainless
steel, allowing a view of the lift shaft dug into
the rock of the mountain and creating a scenic
effect in preparation for the ‘jump into the void’
that awaits the visitor at the end of the upward
travel. The two lifts, with a 60-metre travel, were
installed from November 2014 to August 2015
and since then their operation has proven the
correctness of the design choices. •
L’esposizione a tale ambiente ha dettato, come
conseguenza, diverse caratteristiche peculiari
delle porte di piano e di cabina utilizzate. Wittur
ha fornito porte tipo Hydra in esecuzione con
ante vetrate. In particolare, sono state installate
guide riscaldate sull’operatore porta di cabina
per evitare problemi nel movimento delle ante.
Inoltre, l’intera struttura dell’operatore è stata
realizzata in acciaio Inox AISI 304, un materiale
estremamente resistente alla corrosione.
Le soglie delle porte sono realizzate in acciaio
inox con resistenze termiche che evitano
la formazione di ghiaccio e il conseguente
bloccaggio dell’ascensore. Inoltre la totalità della
componentistica elettrica installata sulle porte è
in classe di protezione IP-54 a tenuta stagna.
La massima attenzione è stata data alla affidabilità
operativa, lavorando su dimensionamenti e
rinforzi strutturali e utilizzando materiali speciali
per rotelle e altri componenti di usura.
L’esecuzione delle ante vetrate è parafiamma
secondo EN 81-58. Dal punto di vista estetico
sono state scelte ante vetrate, con struttura
portante interamente in acciaio Inox AISI 304,
che permettono di vedere il vano dell’ascensore
scavato nella roccia della montagna e ottenere un
effetto scenico di preparazione al ‘salto nel vuoto’
che attende il visitatore al termine dell’ascesa. I
due ascensori, con una corsa di 60 metri, sono stati
installati da novembre 2014 ad agosto 2015 e da
allora il loro funzionamento ha dimostrato la bontà
delle scelte progettuali di fondo. •
