Using the Roba-multiswitch fast acting rectifier module
design by Mayr power transmission, developed for
retrofitting purposes, not only means that weight and space
can be saved in control cabinets, but also that different
components can be controlled.
L’utilizzo del modulo raddrizzatore a commutazione rapida
Roba-multiswitch di Mayr power transmission, sviluppato
per la modernizzazione, non solo consente di risparmiare
peso e spazio negli armadi elettrici, ma anche di controllare

In control cabinets on elevator cabins, the light-weight and
flexible Roba-multiswitch replaces the transformer, which
previously had to be placed outside the cabinet due to
space reasons, and also minimises the wiring effort.
Negli armadi elettrici delle cabine degli ascensori, il leggero

Mayr power transmission’s in-house Electronic
Development has created a Roba-multiswitch
fast switching module design with a uniform
input voltage of 230 VAC and simultaneouslyvariable
output voltage
specifically for retrofit solutions and renewals
in control and switch cabinet construction.
The output voltage of 42 to 180 VDC can be
adjusted via a DIP switch. This means that this
module not only saves weight and reduces space
requirements, but also permits the control of
different components.
Another important aspect is the
lower energy consumption of the fast acting
rectifier. •
Il reparto di sviluppo elettronico dell’azienda ha
creato un modulo a commutazione rapida Robamultiswitch
con una tensione d’ingresso uniforme
di 230 VAC e una tensione d’uscita variabile
in modo simultaneo, specifica per soluzioni di
modernizzazione nella costruzione di armadi di
comando e quadri elettrici. La tensione di uscita
da 42 a 180 VDC può essere regolata tramite un
interruttore DIP switch. Ciò significa che questo

(Germany). In 1992 he joined Mayr and worked in
different responsibilities. Since 2006 he is part of the
task force Key Account Management Elevator Brakes
and is Programme Manager for leading international
OEM projects.
