Standardisation goes with
ecological transition
La normazione accompagna
la transizione ecologica

In Italy and Europe, legislative bodies
are increasingly concerned with issues
related to climate change, energy efficiency
and environmental, economic and social
sustainability: protection of the environment
and biodiversity, circular economy,
clever management of packaging
and waste, sustainable finance,
chemical substances, nature-based
solutions, smart farming, packaging,
etc.
In Italy, the National Organization
for Standardization (UNI) set up
a Steering Committee focused on
ecological transition.
In Europe, the European Committee
for Standardization (CEN) and
the European Committee for Electrotechnical
Standardization (Cenelec) held a workshop
on the most promising solutions to reduce the
impact of climate change and contribute to the
environmental objectives of the EU.
UNI: ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION, STEERING
COMMITTEE AT WORK
Between April and May 2022, the UNI Steering
Committee, set up by the Governing Council,
began work to support the Executive Committee
in dealing with the issue of ecological transition,
with the coordination of the UNI Chairman,
Giuseppe Rossi.
The Steering Committee is tasked with
proposing, developing and monitoring sector
initiatives, within the framework of the objectives
and priorities of the UNI Strategic Lines 2021-
In Italia e in Europa aumentano le esperienze
degli enti di normazione sugli argomenti
legati ai cambiamenti climatici, all’efficienza
energetica e alla sostenibilità ambientale,
economica e sociale: protezione dell’ambiente
e della biodiversità, economia
circolare, gestione intelligente degli
imballaggi e dei rifiuti, finanza
sostenibile, nature-based solution,
smart farming ecc.).
In Italia Uni, Ente Nazionale
di Normazione, ha creato nei
mesi scorsi una Cabina di Regia
focalizzata sulla transizione
ecologica.
In Europa, invece, CEN (Comitato
europeo di normazione) e Cenelec
(Comitato europeo di normazione elettrotecnica)
hanno tenuto un workshop che ha trattato le
soluzioni più promettenti per ridurre l’impatto
dei cambiamenti climatici e contribuire agli
obiettivi ambientali dell’UE.
UNI: TRANSIZIONE ECOLOGICA, LA CABINA
DI REGIA AL LAVORO
Tra aprile e maggio 2022, la Cabina di Regia
UNI, costituita dal Consiglio Direttivo, ha
avviato i lavori per supportare la Giunta
Esecutiva nella trattazione del tema della
transizione ecologica, con il coordinamento del
Presidente Giuseppe Rossi.
La Cabina di Regia è incaricata di proporre,
sviluppare e monitorare le iniziative settoriali,
nel quadro degli obiettivi e delle priorità delle
Linee Strategiche UNI 2021-2024 e in linea con
