he Council on Tall Buildings and Urban<br />
Habitat (Ctbuh) has announced the<br />
Urban Habitat, Structural Engineering,<br />
Façade Engineering, Construction, Innovation,<br />
Renovation, and Interior Design Award of<br />
Excellence Winners for the Ctbuh <strong>2022</strong> Awards<br />
Program.<br />
“The Ctbuh Awards aspire to provide a<br />
comprehensive and sophisticated view of tall<br />
buildings and the urban environment,” said<br />
Innovation Jury Member Astrid Piber, partner at<br />
UNStudio. “We strike to recognize projects and<br />
individuals that pave the way for what will be<br />
possible in the future by making extraordinary<br />
contributions and innovations in the field.”<br />
Winners in all categories will present their<br />
projects at the Ctbuh <strong>2022</strong> International<br />
Conference, held in-person in Chicago on 9-12<br />
November <strong>2022</strong>, where the overall winner in<br />
each category will be announced. The Ctbuh<br />
Awards program honors projects and<br />
individuals that have made extraordinary<br />
contributions to the advancement<br />
of tall buildings and the urban<br />
environment, and that achieve sustainability<br />
at the highest and broadest level. Awards have<br />
been given in over twenty categories for Best<br />
Tall Building, Urban Habitat, Innovation,<br />
Renovation, Interior Design, Construction,<br />
and Engineering. Additional category<br />
winners will be announced<br />
at later dates.<br />
The Ctbuh Awards are an independent review<br />
of new projects, judged by a prestigious panel<br />
of experts. Submissions are also considered for<br />
inclusion in a gorgeous coffee table book that<br />

“I Ctbuh Awards intendono fornire una<br />
visione completa e sofisticata dei grattacieli<br />
e dell’ambiente urbano”, ha affermato Astrid<br />
Piber, membro della Innovation Jury, partner di<br />
UNStudio. “Il nostro intento è dare riconoscimento<br />
a progetti e persone che apriranno la strada a ciò<br />
che sarà possibile in futuro, apportando contributi<br />
straordinari e scelte innovative sul campo”.<br />
I vincitori di tutte le categorie presenteranno i<br />
propri progetti alla Conferenza Internazionale<br />
Ctbuh <strong>2022</strong>, che si terrà in presenza a Chicago<br />
dal 9 al 12 novembre <strong>2022</strong> e dove sarà annunciato<br />
il vincitore assoluto di ciascuna categoria. Il<br />
programma Ctbuh Awards premia i progetti e le<br />
persone che hanno saputo dare un contributo di<br />
rilievo al progresso degli edifici alti e dell’ambiente<br />
urbano, con il raggiungimento di elevati livelli<br />
generali di sostenibilità. Sono stati assegnati premi<br />
in oltre venti categorie per Best Tall Building,<br />
Urban Habitat, Innovation, Renovation, Interior<br />
Design, Construction e Engineering (Migliore<br />
edificio alto, Habitat urbano, Innovazione,<br />
Ristrutturazione, Design d’interni, Edilizia e<br />
Ingegneria). Ulteriori vincitori di categoria saranno<br />
annunciati in date successive.<br />
I Ctbuh Awards sono una rassegna indipendente<br />
di nuovi progetti, valutata da una prestigiosa<br />
giuria di esperti. Vengono inoltre accettate le<br />
candidature per l’inclusione dei propri lavori in<br />
