D
espite the outbreak of the second
wave of the Coronavirus (Covid-19)
pandemic, the construction industry in
India registered a year-on-year (Y-o-Y) growth
of 68.3% in real terms in Q2 2021, according
to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme
Implementation (MoSPI).
The real estate sector in India is expected to
reach USD 1 trillion by 2030 growing by 19.5%
CAGR.
In addition, the government construction
projects are majorly providing a thrust to the
growing Indian construction industry.
The Ministry is taking steps to further intensify
the efforts to realize the vision of the Prime
Minister, of providing seamless connectivity
across India so that it becomes USD 5-trillion
economy by 2025.
The two-fold increase in the target
for highways in FY23 compared with FY22
augurs well for the construction
sector.
Under the PM Gati Shakti measures, national
highway construction of 25,000 kms, 400
new trains in next three years, development
of ports, airports, mass transport measures
will lead to reduction in logistics problems
faced by industries and will help in logistics
cost reduction and increasing productivity of
industry.
The programme envisions strengthening
connectivity between different parts of the
country as well as supporting regional
development.
S
Il settore immobiliare in India dovrebbe
raggiungere entro il 2030 il trilione di dollari,
con una crescita CAGR del 19,5%. Inoltre, i
forte sostegno allo sviluppo regionale.
