LENGTH INTAKE CREDENTIAL LOCATION
3 years/6 semesters Fall, Winter Ontario College Advanced Diploma Progress
OPTIONAL CO-OP
If you enjoy hands-on work and have a mechanical aptitude, an industrial mechanical engineering
technology career combines your interests as you manufacture and produce mechanical equipment
and products. In this program, gain basic engineering and science skills while also becoming familiar
with specialized subjects relating to modern manufacturing and production processes. Courses
also focus on computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing using industry standard
software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, and Simul8). Through projects that simulate real-world
workplace assignments, design, build, and test an original piece of equipment. Leave the program
prepared to go further faster.
Note: This program is taught using a combination of modalities. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, or in a blended/
hybrid combination of both online and traditional classroom teaching.
“This program is very hands-on. When I came to this program I really
didn't know what to expect. After I started, I had a great time and I
fell in love with it. It was through the experiences that I gained at
Centennial that I was actually able to land myself a job.”
