In Ontario, Canada, and internationally, employment in culinary management has been stable.<br />
Through a curriculum that combines cooking with team leadership and entrepreneurial skills,<br />
prepare for the culinary industry. Emphasis on local food products and seasonal cooking, with an<br />
international slant, teaches you to create exquisite menus and dishes that are inspired by global<br />
trends and flavours. Apply those skills during a 14-week work-integrated learning opportunity.<br />
Industry certifications such as Smart Serve, Safe Food Handlers, CPR, and It’s Your Shift (a training<br />
and awareness program to prevent sexual harassment and violence) complement your training — fully<br />
preparing you to confidently take on leadership roles.<br />

Career success starts with a solid foundation, which you get in this program. Position yourself to<br />
enter the field, to apply transfer credits to Centennial’s Culinary Management program, or to use<br />
the College’s articulation agreements to complete a university degree in two additional years. The<br />
program covers seasonal cooking, international flavour exploration, menu preparation, ingredients,<br />
food preparation, and more. To hone your skills, study in our culinary labs, café, restaurant, and Event<br />
Centre; or in our immersive online space. By graduating with industry certifications, such as Smart<br />
Serve, Safe Food Handlers, CPR, and It’s Your Shift (an innovative training and awareness program to<br />
prevent sexual harassment and violence), you can take your career further faster.<br />
