2 years/4 semesters Fall Ontario College Diploma Morningside
Similar to most health sector occupations, Canada’s aging population is expected to increase the
need for health care workers in paramedical roles. To prepare you, this program covers emergency,
medical, trauma, and psychological situations. Besides physical care, you learn to provide support
to people in crisis by drawing on a unique combination of analytical, leadership, and professional
therapeutic skills. To complement hands-on training in advanced simulation labs, participate in
mock disaster exercises and extensive on-the-job learning through field and clinical placements.
Graduating makes you eligible and prepared for the Ministry of Health exam for Advanced Emergency
Medical Care Assistant (A-EMCA).
Note: This program is also offered as a joint degree program with the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC). For more, visit
me to stay fit. I would rather do this
who are actual paramedics.”
