Current job market information shows that over the next 10 years, employment growth in early
childhood education (ECE) is projected to be above the average for all occupations. Join this growing
field providing high standards of care to children and their families. You learn to do so through
observing individual and group needs of infants, toddlers, pre-school, and school-aged children; and
by creating well-planned, stimulating, and responsive programs. Rich classroom experiences include
various opportunities to understand the curriculum. In two ECE centres that function as lab schools,
you observe and practice in a childcare setting. You also participate in experiential learning through
three community field placements. Our program prepares you to enter the industry ready to lead and
to succeed.
Note: This program is taught using a combination of modalities. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, or in a blended/
hybrid combination of both online and traditional classroom teaching.
