It is one example of how broadcasting is changing — and needs professionals with both creative and technical skills. In this program, you gain competencies required for motion picture, television, and radio as well as multiplatform digital productions. You learn to develop and create original story content; prepare, manage, and carry out the production process by exploring techniques for effective storytelling; gain technical experience; and participate in creating and contributing to student productions. A portfolio and a full-time 14-week industry field placement complement your studies. Because the training is so well-rounded, you graduate ready to lead. Guided by industry-experienced faculty members, experiment with contemporary digital and social media production tools; create and maintain forums on social media networks; produce focused written communications and media solutions; and apply English language skills to a presentation portfolio. Once you complete our well-rounded program, with minimum requirements, you become eligible for admission to Advertising and Marketing Communications Management; Journalism; or Broadcasting – Radio, Television, Film and Digital Media at Centennial College.
