This program not only trains you on the latest technology and techniques, but it also covers business<br />
theory and leadership abilities for a lasting career. Through an interactive approach, you develop<br />
the skills to compete in commercial photography and learn what it takes to grow your brand and<br />
create images for diverse clients. Additionally, participating in initiatives such as Story Arts Image<br />
Xchange — a real-world stock agency and incubator for emerging photographers and creative content<br />
creators — facilitates opportunities to publish and showcase your work at local galleries. Complement<br />
your training with a seven-week field placement.<br />

Toy, furniture, and automotive manufacturers all need product designers. Product Design and<br />
Development prepares you for an exciting, creative career within these industries. In the only program<br />
of its kind in Canada, learn to develop high-tech, ecological, and socially-responsible products —<br />
from concept through to production. Through interdisciplinary projects that include drawing, modelmaking,<br />
advanced 3D computer assisted design and modelling, and rapid prototyping on industrystandard<br />
software, advance your creative design and problem-solving abilities and strategies. You<br />
then have the opportunity to bring your ideas to market with ACCEL (Centennial’s business incubator)<br />
and a course during which you work with real-world clients to gain industry experience. This program<br />
leaves you feeling wholly prepared to go further faster.<br />
