Whether you want an education in multiple business disciplines or a foundation for a specialty area,<br />

this program gives you a solid knowledge base and the leadership skills to launch a career. Graduate<br />

with comprehension and skills in contemporary concepts, theories, and best practices related to the<br />

functional areas of accounting, finance, human resources, marketing, and operations. To ensure you<br />

are ready for the modern business environment, you also gain additional interpersonal skills. Among<br />

them are: effective communication, customer service, teamwork, positive attitudes and behaviours,<br />

adaptability, responsibility, problem-solving, and continuous learning.<br />

1. Business program graduates may apply to the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA) for a Professional Sales<br />

2. Students who successfully complete the COMP106 and/or COMP126 course(s) at Progress Campus have an opportunity to<br />

Whether your ultimate goal is to work in marketing, human resources, or another business area, this<br />

program prepares you with a solid base for success. Business Foundations is an alternate offering<br />

if you applied to a Centennial Business School program but may not currently meet the English<br />

admission requirements. Courses cover communications, mathematics, Microsoft Office, Canadian<br />

and international business practices, and business success strategies. This combination helps you to<br />

develop an understanding of the Canadian business environment, while also building on your existing<br />

English language skills.<br />

Notes:<br />

1. Once you complete this program, you are eligible to transfer, with credits, to a Business School diploma or advanced diploma<br />

program.<br />

2. Completion of the Business Foundations certificate program can help you earn up to six course credits that you can use<br />

towards required business courses in other Business School programs, depending on achieved grade levels.<br />

3. Courses you took as part of the post-secondary credential used to gain admission to this program may not be used to obtain<br />

further transfer credits.<br />
