In the Journalism Joint program, earn two credentials while learning from leading academics and<br />

professionals. From traditional news media to Twitter, the college courses focus on storytelling for<br />

all media platforms, including print and digital. During three semesters of classes, you get hands-on<br />

experience while producing a range of publications and broadcasts — followed by a field placement.<br />

Enter the workplace with a portfolio that showcases your knowledge and skills, and the leadership<br />

abilities to go further faster.<br />

society. The Joint UTSC offering focuses on the critical thinking, research, design, leadership, and<br />

communications skills as well as the experience you need to analyze media’s impact on today’s<br />

academic expertise — and be ready for a career as a leader in any organization requiring creative<br />
