From creating mythical creatures to fantasy lands, turn your imagination into a 3D animation<br />
career. Since 1996, this internationally-recognized program, known for its intensive approach, has<br />
kickstarted the careers of many talented digital artists. By concentrating on production-style training<br />
and a project-based learning experience, courses prepare you for a future in the animation, film,<br />
television, broadcast design, and gaming industries. In small classes and computer labs, to which<br />
you have 24-hour access, study subjects such as life drawing, acting for animation, and storyboard<br />
training. Industry-leading guest speakers, workshops, company studio tours, and an eight-week<br />
industry field placement assist you in producing demo reels to showcase your aptitude. Graduate<br />
with the well roundedness you need to go further faster.<br />

Nurture your artistic talents by developing creative, practical, and entrepreneurial skills. This<br />
preparation program helps you to build your portfolio, which is required for admission to specialized<br />
programs. It also opens you up to career possibilities within visual arts. Practicing artists and<br />
designers teach the studio-based, hands-on curriculum. It provides you with traditional, digital, and<br />
multimedia expertise — along with the opportunity to work on client-based community projects.<br />
During the program, become familiar with drawing, design, colour, 3D modelling and design, visual<br />
culture, video making, digital illustration, photography, and rapid prototyping. This stepping-stone<br />
sets you up for the next stage of your success.<br />

1. If you complete the Art and Design Fundamentals program with a B (70 per cent) average, you will be eligible to transfer to<br />
Centennial’s Graphic Design or Fine Arts Studio programs.<br />
