Massage Therapy (Compressed Delivery) 5115<br />

2 years/6 semesters Winter Ontario College Advanced Diploma Morningside<br />
In a compressed delivery format, gain fundamental and advanced skills to become a massage<br />
therapist with the ability to work — and lead — in various settings. This program, which uses an<br />
evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment planning and implementation, prepares you<br />
to enter the industry. Balancing theory and practice, the curriculum includes labs, an onsite public<br />
clinic, and offsite outreach placement experience. In these settings, learn proper assessment tools<br />
and techniques to deal with conditions involving lymph, muscle, nerve, fascia, and joints as well as<br />
maintaining physical health, function, and mobility. After graduation, you become eligible to write the<br />
College of Massage Therapists of Ontario-administered registration exams to obtain the Registered<br />
Massage Therapist designation.<br />

Apply nutritional care principles to promote health and effectively manage a food service department<br />
as a nutrition and food service professional. The longest established two-year program of its kind<br />
in the Greater Toronto Area, award-winning Nutrition and Food Service Management prepares<br />
you to take advantage of various opportunities. This accredited program focuses on current best<br />
practices in financial management, food service operations, clinical nutrition, and human resource<br />
management. Balancing theory and practice, the curriculum includes computer software instruction,<br />
state-of-the-art culinary lab use, interprofessional collaboration, and a six-week supervised field<br />
placement in health care. Upon graduation, you become eligible for membership with the Canadian<br />
Society of Nutrition Management. Becoming a leader in this field is possible with training from our<br />
