Ge<strong>in</strong> Wong is an <strong>in</strong>terdiscipl<strong>in</strong>ary director, playwright, poet, composer and video artist. She is a <strong>2012</strong><br />

Canadian Stage RBC BASH DIrector <strong>in</strong> Residence, a 2013 Harbourfront Centre HATCH Resident<br />

Artist, and a two-time <strong>Philadelphia</strong> Asian Arts Initiative Resident Artist. She has been short listed for<br />

the Ontario KM Hunter Award <strong>in</strong> Theatre (2010) and Literature (2013). She has created the large scale<br />

<strong>in</strong>terdiscipl<strong>in</strong>ary piece "Hid<strong>in</strong>g Words (for you)" which delves <strong>in</strong>to nushu, a secret language Ch<strong>in</strong>ese<br />

women created when they were not allowed to read or write, her two-hander "Ocean Carv<strong>in</strong>g", her one<br />

woman show "Fold My Soul" and her audience <strong>in</strong>teractive community build<strong>in</strong>g performance "Intent<br />

City". She is Artistic Director of the <strong>in</strong>terdiscipl<strong>in</strong>ary performance company Eventual Ashes.<br />

Krist<strong>in</strong>a Wong is an <strong>in</strong>ternationally presented solo performer, writer, actor, educator, culture jammer,<br />

and filmmaker. She has written and performed five full-length solo theater works and one ensemble<br />

play. Krist<strong>in</strong>a's been a commentator for American Public Media's Marketplace radio show, PBS,<br />

KCET, xoJane.com, Jezebel and Playgirl Magaz<strong>in</strong>e. Her work has been awarded with the Creative<br />

Capital award, the Map Fund, three Center for Cultural Innovation awards, four Durfee<br />

Foundation/CCI ARC grants, two <strong>National</strong> <strong>Performance</strong> Network Creation Funds, the PEN USA<br />

Rosenthal Emerg<strong>in</strong>g Voices Fellowship and four Artist-<strong>in</strong>-Residence Awards from the City of Los<br />

Andrew is the founder of SFIAF, which coord<strong>in</strong>ates multiple Bay Area arts organizations to produce<br />

the annual Festival. SFIAF commissions and produces new work by local artists engaged <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>in</strong>ternational projects and presents the exist<strong>in</strong>g repertoire of multiple ensembles from around the world<br />

(most of whom do not have US representation). Each Festival takes three years to plan and implement.<br />

SFIAF will celebrate its 10th anniversary <strong>in</strong> 2013. Prior to creat<strong>in</strong>g SFIAF, Andrew was the Director of
