Janice Hayes-Cha is a mixed media artist. She is here to represent MamaCita, a <strong>Philadelphia</strong>-based<br />

mother's cooperative <strong>in</strong> the arts. In partnership with 4 other artists- Julie Mann, Karen McLaughl<strong>in</strong>,<br />

Brenda Howell and Kimberly Mehler, she is work<strong>in</strong>g on an <strong>in</strong>stallation called One Year. One Year will<br />

explore urban violence and community responses to it by memorializ<strong>in</strong>g each murder victim <strong>in</strong><br />

<strong>Philadelphia</strong> over <strong>2012</strong>. This work is <strong>in</strong>spired by Mothers <strong>in</strong> Charge, a violence prevention<br />

organization created by mothers <strong>in</strong> <strong>Philadelphia</strong>.<br />

Tim Heck is a multi-genre performer based <strong>in</strong> Chicago. He has worked with Blue Man Group, Molly<br />

Shanahan/Mad Shak, Mucca Pazza, 500 Clown, Thodos Dance Chicago, Redmoon Theater, and<br />

Eisenhower Dance Ensemble. He is at NPN with the amaz<strong>in</strong>g, <strong>in</strong>tuitive, and multi-faceted Lucky Plush<br />

Productions.<br />

Charles Helm jo<strong>in</strong>ed the staff of the Wexner Center <strong>in</strong> 1991. Helm regularly serves as a panelist for<br />

regional and national arts agencies and foundations. The Wexner Center's perform<strong>in</strong>g arts program was<br />

the first university-based program funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation's prestigious<br />

Leadership Present<strong>in</strong>g Institutions program <strong>in</strong> recognition of its creative laboratory work. Helm is<br />

currently work<strong>in</strong>g on creative residency or commission<strong>in</strong>g projects with artists such as Young Jean
