He is a 2012 Live Arts Brewery Fellow as a part of the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival, a 2011 Fellow as a part of the DeVos Institute of Art Management at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and a certificate candidate at the Institute for Curatorial Practice in Performance (ICPP) at Wesleyan University, is a poet, choreographer, and performance artist. He is the Co-Director of anonymous bodies, a site based performance company based in Philadelphia. His work in theater and dance has received support from The Pew Center for Arts and Heritage through Dance Advance, The Philadelphia Cultural Management Initiative, The Joyce Theater Foundation, and The Philadelphia Cultural Fund. A native of Cleveland, Ohio John Kramel came to Tigertail from a long career in computer application development. NPN's 2012 Annual Meeting in Philadelphia Attendees / Page 59 of 115 Fran Kumin is the director of the Philadelphia Theatre Initiative at The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. Since 1995, the initiative has funded 209 projects, investing almost $11.5 million in the artistic development of the region's professional theater. Fran previously served as a vice president of Theatre Communications Group, the national organization of the American theater, where she supervised a broad range of artistic and management programs and coordinated that organization's research and advocacy efforts. Earlier, Fran cast close to 40 Broadway plays and 100 regional theater productions, including premieres by August Wilson, Athol Fugard, and Tom Stoppard. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Yale School of Drama where she later served on the faculty. DAN KIT KWONG Great Leap, Inc. His ground-breaking performances and workshops have played a key role in the development of the next generation of Asian American solo performers. In February he assumed the position of associate artistic director of Great Leap, the multicultural performing arts organization in Los Angeles founded by Nobuko Miyamoto. His play "Be Like Water" was produced by East West Players in 2008 and in the last 3 years he has been directing and editing environmentally-themed music videos for Great Leap. He is currently developing a new work on the topic of Asian American single motherhood, entitled "CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE." STEVE M LAMBERT Artist 544 Main St. #9, Beacon, NY 12508 phone (415) 533-3961 steve@visitsteve.com Steve Lambert aims to make art for non-art audiences: work that is accessible, relevant, challenging, and often fun. Lambert's work has been shown everywhere from museums to protest marches nationally and internationally, featured in over fourteen books, four documentary films, and is in the collections of The Sheldon Museum, the Progressive Insurance Company, and the Library of Congress. Lambert has discussed his projects on NPR, the BBC, and CNN, and been featured in the New York Times, Harper's, Newsweek and others. He lives in Beacon, NY and dropped out of high school in 1993.
