Elizabeth Doud is an <strong>in</strong>dependent perform<strong>in</strong>g artist, writer and arts organizer. She has written,<br />

produced and toured dozens of orig<strong>in</strong>al performance works, rang<strong>in</strong>g from one-woman literary<br />

collage-bak<strong>in</strong>g extravaganzas to full blown capoeira pop-operas, and is creat<strong>in</strong>g a new performance<br />

<strong>in</strong>stallation entitled The Mermaid Tear Factory. She has over 15 years experience as an arts organizer<br />

and educator, with an emphasis on <strong>in</strong>ternational cultural exchange. She is a tenacious champion of<br />

creat<strong>in</strong>g and protect<strong>in</strong>g the space to experiment and experience contemporary performance. Currently,<br />

she is the program coord<strong>in</strong>ator for NPN's Perform<strong>in</strong>g Americas Program and a programm<strong>in</strong>g and<br />

residency consultant for FUNDarte, Inc.<br />

Er<strong>in</strong> Boberg Doughton, perform<strong>in</strong>g arts program director at the Portland Institute for Contemporary<br />

Art (PICA) has worked on PICA's performance and residency programs s<strong>in</strong>ce its <strong>in</strong>ception <strong>in</strong> 1995.<br />

She is part of the curatorial team for PICA's annual TBA (Time-Based Art) Festival which features<br />

artists work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> performance, media, visual arts and hybrid forms. She is a past NPN board member<br />

and has served as an NPN Perform<strong>in</strong>g Americas Curator. She is a current <strong>National</strong> Dance Project Hub<br />
