Quita is the Program Manager for New England Foundation for the Arts' (NEFA) <strong>National</strong> Theater<br />

Project. She holds a BA and MA <strong>in</strong> Theatre from Knox College and SUNY Stony Brook, respectively,<br />

as well as a law degree from Wayne State University Law School. Before law school, she worked as a<br />

Stage Manager <strong>in</strong> Chicago and later as an Adm<strong>in</strong>istrator for a not-for-profit artist management office,<br />

creat<strong>in</strong>g contracts and manag<strong>in</strong>g book<strong>in</strong>g and perform<strong>in</strong>g fees for musicians <strong>in</strong> the Great Lakes area.<br />

After law school, she practiced Environmental Justice law for 10 years <strong>in</strong> Detroit and Boston. Prior to<br />

jo<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g NEFA as a staff member, Quita was an Advisor for NEFA's Native Arts Program. Quita is Of<br />

Counsel to and a member of the Montaukett tribe.<br />

Shima Suzuki majored <strong>in</strong> art Science at Tama Art University and graduated <strong>in</strong> 2005. She worked at<br />

Sagamihara Culture Foundation, where she was <strong>in</strong> charge of curat<strong>in</strong>g, manag<strong>in</strong>g, and produc<strong>in</strong>g arts<br />

programs for public theaters between 2005 and <strong>2012</strong>. She moved to Fukuoka <strong>in</strong> <strong>2012</strong> and is currently<br />

work<strong>in</strong>g for the Fukuoka City Foundation for Arts and Cultural Promotion as Project Coord<strong>in</strong>ator.<br />

Theresa Sweetland, executive/artistic director of Intermedia Arts, holds a BA <strong>in</strong> cultural anthropology<br />

from the University of M<strong>in</strong>nesota and a master's degree <strong>in</strong> urban and regional plann<strong>in</strong>g at the<br />

University of M<strong>in</strong>nesota Hubert H Humphrey School of Public Affairs with a concentration on<br />

community and economic development. Theresa is a co-found<strong>in</strong>g artistic director of B-Girl Be, the
