Evasco recently served as Board Chair for Bindlestiff Studio (2009-2012), the only theater space in the nation dedicated to Filipino arts, and is the Managing Director of Guerrilla Rep, a theater company that explores class in American society through new plays. Drawing on her experiences as a stand up comic and comedic actress, Evasco is currently developing her autobiographical one-woman show, "Mama Queerest" that chronicles her unconventional coming out tale, including the earth-shattering discovery that her mother is lesbian too. Since taking this position in 1988 she had developed the Festival into an internationally acclaimed contemporary dance program known for its artistic excellence, curatorial vision, and commitment to building community through dance. Ms. Faure is currently serving a three-year term as a hubsite for the National Dance Project. She is a founding member of The Africa Contemporary Arts Consortium and has been developing a cross-cultural exchange program with artists from Japan, Indonesia, Africa, Cuba, Portugal and Mexico since 1994. The Foundation also presents free professional development workshops for teaching artists. Beth was the project director for Cultural Builds Communities for the William Penn Foundation and the arts education development project for The Pew Charitable Trusts, and was the director of an after-school visual arts programs. She is also a poet whose book with artist Claire Owen, "Sage," was the focus of a 2012 exhibition at the Chicago Botanic Gardens. They are currently at work on a new collaboration for an upcoming exhibition at the Center for Art in Wood in Philadelphia.
